I have been offering my services as an Occupational Therapist for the last 20 years, managing my own private practice and working for both local authority and within the NHS. My specialist therapeutic interventions have always had a psychological underpinning which has led me to work with people who have suffered trauma including: Neurological Trauma & Injury, Physical Trauma & Injury: including Spinal Cord Injury, Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) For over 30 years I have been aware my calling was to assist people find their path to healing and that my discovery of different modalities continues to develop. I have always known as humans we are more than the physical vehicle we are born into; that we are an energy being, and we vibrate at different levels and frequencies during events in our life. I completed a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Diploma and knew instantly this was one treatment widely offered, but is not a 'fit' for everyone as it doesn't allow for deeper healing. Trauma in its various forms can sit within our physical bodies, causing blockages that can manifest in various ways, as pain, anxiety, depression, disease to name a few.
